TechCrunch now on Washington Post

I think this is pretty big news for everyone on the Internet, not just TechCrunch. The Washington Post is now including in their tech news section a content widget with headlines from TechCrunch. They have added this content widget because it enables their website to become more of a top destination for tech news across the web as opposed to just news from their site. This is a traditionally walled garden opening up and understanding that people are going to go to multiple websites to get their news. Now users will go to washingtonpost.com more often because they can get more news there….increase the utility of your site and surprise surprise your users will use your site more often.  I hope this trend continues with traditional publishers that have been resisting this change for a long time.
